Disable Function Regedit
4:13 AM | Author: The Mouse
Regedit stands for Registry Editor in Windows has the functionality to view, create or modify the registry in Windows. Well, because its function is sometimes abused by people or users who are not responsible so as to endanger the system registry on your computer.
The steps are:
Click Start> Run> and type gpedit.msc and press Enter or OK so it would appear the Group Policy Editor.
Then click the User Configuration> Administrative Templates> System.
Then select and double click on Prevent access to registry editing tools to appear "dialog box".
Then select "enabled" on the options that exist, and also select "yes" to "Disable regedit from editing tools?"
Then click OK or Apply and close the gpedit.msc.
Now, the user is not able to access the regedit function.
Good Luck.. biggrin
